Sounds like a great tool to use no matter what the grade level. I think I would have a “cameraman” as a helper in my classroom and they could record things like the calendar each day. Or if you have a student who is absent you could record your lessons and let them watch it to catch up.

The flip camera comes in really handy for broadcasting footage. We just purchased one of the cameras and will be using it at our school to do quick interviews, event coverage, etc. The students won’t have to take the bigger cameras around for that anymore.

As an administrator, I use it to video good things in my school to share with staff members and also as an a formative assessment tool

I would like my school to invest in flip video cameras for a variety of learning activities. Students will be able to record science experiments, setup interviews with other students, and add digital elements to a variety of reports.
